My first rimfire

Is there a website depicting these type targets/guns are being shot? Do they shoot inside or outside?
ARA is shot indoors and outdoors. The PSL is a limited number of shoots with 1 inside and the rest outside.

There is a factory class for ARA, but what most of us are shooting when we are talking about ultimate precision and accuracy are the unlimited guns like below.

Shoot inside and outside, some shoot both some shoot only inside or outside. Just preference I guess.

The American Rimfire Association (ARA), Professional Shooting League (PSL), IR 50/50 and Auto Benchrest Rifle Association (ABRA) all have websites and Facebook groups. Facebook groups probably show you the most relay and match winning targets. Best thing to do is just go to a local match, usually a great group that will help.

This is not a real high x count 2500 like the professionals but it was my first outdoor perfect target. Happened at the Michigan State match this year in Edwardsburg. I was lucky enough to get one indoors at Prarie Station, MS in February and an outdoor target in early June. Dumb luck!

Very nice rifle!
The CCI SV shoots as good as Lapua pistol out of my High Standard Victor. And it does very well out of quite a few rifles. Another one that we have been using at our club is Norma TAC. It is almost always in stock and you can order it direct from Norma for around $50 a brick. We don't shoot any BR matches, just silhouette in the summer and off hand in the winter.
Should have bought more. Guy a the LGS yesterday was selling bricks for $39.95, but I only bought 2. He also had black box TAC-22 which I love for the same price. Thankfully he sets up at 3 of the 4 shows I go to. He also had plenty primers @$80 per 1000~!!

Wheeler build....holeshot trident, rotex stock, bartlein 5 groove, holeshot tuner, bix trigger, vortex golden eagle, shooting midas plus...1st group at 100ydView attachment 1479022
Glenn,

Nice looking Action / Stock Build .
I would love to see a few close-up pictures of the Action and Stock. Also the foreend of this Stock / Rifle Build.

Possibly the next time you have it out.

Thanks in advance.

Yes they do. Because they had instances of people firing on red. Now there is no excuse not to know range is cold. Common at many ranges I travel to.

Im not really even sure how small a competitive rimfire is supposed to shoot. I would expect to be able to get it going better than it is. I only have a couple boxes of midas, I have more of the cci. The cci standard has shot well in a lot of factory rifles and pistols for me and my buddies and its not target ammo money.
Nice - very nice, cant wait to see more results.

Yes...I will retest with 10 shot groups at 137 and 138 and 148/149 with the eley. They all look good to me with small sample size. Tuners are voodoo

Looks like all lots came in and out of tune around 137. Post the results when you shoot. Should be interesting.

I did similar testing and it took me shooting the same range of settings repeatedly over several days and different conditions to find the best setting with my Vudoo. The groups did not open up and get tighter like a centerfire, but the gun consistently shot better at some settings than at others.
