I lost my father in 2003 and there are few days that go by b that I don't think of him and miss being able to share important stuff in my life with him. I can only tell you that time helps, but the pain of your loss never really goes away, but the acuteness lessenses. Your memories of the the "good times" will see you through. Keep your Dad alive by telling your family your favorites rememberance of him. I will prayer for and your family.

It's been a full year now.
I miss him more than I could have ever imagined.
Deep thought, through the past year, has taught me a Lot.
I visit his grave often, and realize I had the Best Role Model anyone could have ever been blessed with.
I strive to have the Strength to be more like him, as I grow closer to meet our maker.
It's important to joke, keep things light, and laugh, while still being true, and loving your friends and family.
