My Dear Dad

I lost my Father yesterday.
He fought a long, brutal battle. He was my Best Friend, and I'll Miss him until we're together again.

Guys, to clarify as i wrote on Sunday, - Post # 60, it has been one full year since Dad passed, (his first anniversary), and I miss him dearly. Thank you all again for the thoughts and prayers, and I extend the same wishes for those of you that have experienced losing loved ones. You Know the pain.

December was a year ago my dad passed, 2018, about five weeks shy of being 93 years old, and I miss him way more than I ever imagined. I keep all of the good things close in my heart, he and my mother put me on a solid foundation and kept me between the ditches while growing up. My father died unexpectedly and I take great comfort in the fact that about 15 minutes before he collapsed the last words he ever heard me say were "I love you pop".

I understand, and I'm sorry for your loss, unfortunately, we are never truly 100% adults until both of our parents are dead, when there is no one to go back to for help or advice.
I have not liked being an adult.
