Damn Josh, you getting for TEOTWAWKI????????
What? Nick? I can’t read those abbreviations!! Drives me nuts!
I have plenty of primers, bullets and powder to load these. Then I’ll be down to 3k small rifle primers. Probably like everyone else, I’m low. I keep missing availability. I’ll keep trying! Might have to drive back to Delaware to get the primers I left behind!
Yeah! It was the Dillon swager! It was fun for the first few hundred. Then it was work. Only took part of a few days free time. Ya get into a rhythm, then try to go faster. It was actually a nice break from pouring concrete footers and pads. Good to get into some reloading. If time allows, I’ll test some 77 Sierra loads in my AR, then load the whole lot so I have a stash of blasting ammo ready for......?? Who knows what?![]()
The title of your thread had me anxiously awaiting a review of your new Super Blackhawk Bisley in 454 Casull...
The End Of The World As We Know It.
. Good looking gun, but oh.......the recoil!......and finding ammo?
Ooohhhh! I’m jealous! Good going!!! I knew you were a smart guy!!!Stop by my house. 7,500 rounds of 223. Money will be worthless, but not 223 ammo

Funny you should mention! I went to pick up a 44 Special Ruger from the LGS. Thank you Ken Lewis! They had a Taurus in 454 Casul for sale. The price tag had $850 scratched out, $750 scratched out and was now $650. Looked like a 7 or 8 inch barrel. Good looking gun, but oh.......the recoil!......and finding ammo?
In these times you better not be using Varget for blasting ammo! That’s sacrilege or something like that. What? Nick? I can’t read those abbreviations!! Drives me nuts!

Got you covered Josh, loaded up some last week., but oh.......the recoil!......and finding ammo?
That’s funny, I just picked up my first 9mm today. Thought I’d just buy ammo when I picked it up. NOT!Josh! Sounds like a good few days! Ironically, today being Monday, it was GUNday. I went to pick up my new duty gun (a Sig 320 rxp with Romeo, my first 9mm ever) and while there a trade-in G23 went past my nose. Basically new in box, trade in on a Sig. At $340 it came home too. I have enough 40 brass and ammo to stop Poncho Villa in his own backyard, so it was a no brainer. BUT...I got a 9mm and NO AMMO! Gotta bum it from the local constabulary! I can't believe I find myself in this position...a new launcher, new sight system, new holster and in need of 1000 rounds to force the old Glock muscle memory out and retrain to the Sig. And NO AMMO! I never thought I would own a pea shooter (sorry guys, I know yinz 9mm lovers hate me now, but I like to START with a .45 hole, not end with it.) But this is what the powers that be demand...maybe I will get me a Sig airsoft till ammo comes in! Ohhhh...I foresee another GUNday!
But any two GUNDAY is a FUNday!
Ya, with no ammo its just a piss poor hammerThat’s funny, I just picked up my first 9mm today. Thought I’d just buy ammo when I picked it up. NOT!
