Yeah speeds were down from ladder. It has rushty and I scratching our heads.. I will be testing the better of the 2 nodes and slowest tomorrow. Will let you know how it goes..I’m struggling and here’s why.
.015 jam is fairly flat the next looks like a reverse L than .005 is pretty good again.005 off is a bear paw etc. and this goes on through out the test.
I’m not seeing a pattern or tendencies to follow creating the diagnostic tree, you must not be on the powder node or may be just typical of 107.
Just my 2 cents Bro

I wasn’t confident with that node from the start,as stated earlier an ES of 33 over 3 shots had me concerned during the ladder test...My pick was the lower node from the ladder which held good ES and elevation for all 3 it was shot in...Yeah speeds were down from ladder. Fingers crossed
In my experience it is not typical of a 107, in fact it’s the opposite...I’m struggling and here’s why.

I don’t think it was ever ‘in’ the powder node, the ladder was inconclusive and needed further testing IMHO..If you dropped out of your node your chasing your tail with the seating depth test. You should find that node and retest it with more rounds to make sure it holds. When I first started I was told to find the depth first then the powder node, huge mistake! I was getting nowhere and actually bought a new barrel for a gun I thought just would not shoot, nice barrel but not sure I needed it. Also learned the hard way how poor quality sizing dies can really muck things up!
If seating depth was solid I'd say 1 of 2 things. Wind or punched trigger. Why does the date on the target board say 8/5/19 ?
what is your opinion on .010 off at 2888 FPS
Why does the date on the target board say 8/5/19 ?
......
The date would read 5/8/19 for you guys we put day, month then year..Why does the date on the target board say 8/5/19 ?

I struggle the most trying to read the wind and compensate for it. I need a 1000yd "indoor" range...Can't time the wind my friend.
Think about it, you will not learn to read or shoot in the wind in an indoor 1000 yd range. But with that thought it would be nice to have that range to work up a load. Besides did the you ever hear, The wind is your friend.I struggle the most trying to read the wind and compensate for it. I need a 1000yd "indoor" range...![]()
I'd like to see you do a single aimpoint at your longest distance, color code the bullets for each charge weight, and shoot low to high one shot per charge weight, then high to low, then low to high again. That should even out the changes in conditions. Ignore the wind. One of the colors will likely line up for vertical. See https://www.accurateshooter.com/technical-articles/long-range-load-development/I might do a fine tune that way.. Going to do seating next (with 32.4gr). then fine tune I think
Sorry, SPYou guys crack me up!
A second way to have another look is to color three Bullets of each charge and shoot them at the same POA in a round robin while not changing your set up.
A third world be (non round robin) at individual dots in a vertical target format therefore only adjustment is elevation.
Decreased tracking variables is a plus.
Have fun over there y’all
