My 1st ladder also for 6BRX

Well I used 32.4gr and did a seating depth test at 200 today.. I'm scratching my head
Jams are by far best but all my jump are some similar (speed was slower than ladder approx 20fps slower) temp was about 6c when I started at sunrise and no wind.. Had a little bit of barrel mirage earlier on especially 010 jam but thought I picked conditions .. I'm going to use 31.9gr next (slower node approx 2910) and try seating again from 015 jam to 20 jump and see what happens

I’m struggling and here’s why.

.015 jam is fairly flat the next looks like a reverse L than .005 is pretty good again.005 off is a bear paw etc. and this goes on through out the test.
I’m not seeing a pattern or tendencies to follow creating the diagnostic tree, you must not be on the powder node or may be just typical of 107.
Just my 2 cents Bro

Yeah speeds were down from ladder. It has rushty and I scratching our heads.. I will be testing the better of the 2 nodes and slowest tomorrow. Will let you know how it goes..
Fingers crossed

If you dropped out of your node your chasing your tail with the seating depth test. You should find that node and retest it with more rounds to make sure it holds. When I first started I was told to find the depth first then the powder node, huge mistake! I was getting nowhere and actually bought a new barrel for a gun I thought just would not shoot, nice barrel but not sure I needed it. Also learned the hard way how poor quality sizing dies can really muck things up!

I wasn’t confident with that node from the start,as stated earlier an ES of 33 over 3 shots had me concerned during the ladder test...My pick was the lower node from the ladder which held good ES and elevation for all 3 it was shot in...

In my experience it is not typical of a 107, in fact it’s the opposite...

I don’t think it was ever ‘in’ the powder node, the ladder was inconclusive and needed further testing IMHO..

I’m confident you guys will find that sweet spot.
I’m taking notes from the side lines.
Keep posting

Yep I'm thinking more testing is needed..
Got down set up before sun rise again.. No wind but a little bit foggy
Jam was crap today haha I was using the 31.9gr load but again speeds were a little slower than when I tested.
Last 2 groups the barrel mirage had hit me so I had to make sure I was in right spot and had to wait between shots..
Think I need to start again with load I think.
It is getting colder here so I think it has messed me up

Why does the date on the target board say 8/5/19 ?
.005 off says feed me more powder.
What does touch look like?
I was liking 5 in, now 5 out.
what is your opinion on .010 off at 2888 FPS

Stuart&Rushty
I’m wondering about something on this latest test board, the shots at .005 off are 2897ish ( tight but vertical) next is .010 off at a touch slower however flat” then.015 is starting to bear paw at approximately the same speed, .020 starts to string a bit to the right but the speed is up and two are fairly tight together.
So here’s what I’m wondering- if you added a bit of HP to .010 off would it stay flat and tighten up??
And be repeatable.
It’s about the same seating window I work with and at least you can read it if the tendencies hold up.
Might be worth a look

If seating depth was solid I'd say 1 of 2 things. Wind or punched trigger.
There 10 thou variance between 5 in and 5 out.
I still would like to see what's in the middle.
He did say velocity was down .005 out is saying feed me, which would get velocity up.
