multi purpose 6mmbr rifle

Hi,

I am looking in purchasing a used rem 22 250 BDL in good condition too use the action and build a 6mm bR varmint rifle too use also in the range for the 300& 500 m class.

The barrell will be a Maddco 1:8 twist.

Which model of the McMillan range of stocks will be the more adecuate for this project?

Any suggestions about optics in this setup that will not breack the bank?
