Stock choice for 6mmBR build

Help Appreciated.

Putting final choices together for my 6mmBR/6-6.5x47 build, keep having moments of calibre indecisions!). Action - Borden Alpine, barrel 27-28' Kreiger #17 Heavy Varmint 8.5 twist, Jewel Trigger, using 90VLD - 105VLD.

Now for the stock, purpose will be 300-600 BR & F class, with some varmint use. Potential stocks would include McMillan Prone or Robertson H&H any thoughts?

Either of the stocks you mention are excellent. I would expect you could get the Robertson faster. I would also seriously look at Master Class and McGee. If it were me and I could afford it I would go with the Master Class.

You might want to take a look at Carl Bernosky Shooting Sports, I have one of his Master Class 1000 Low Profile Stock it came sanded and almost ready it finish, the prep work was much better then any of the other top stock makers laminates that I've seen and the inletting was nearly a perfect fit. If you didn't see the thumb wheel you wouldn't even know it has a adjustable cheek piece the fit is that good.

RJ
