Mountain Tactical Gen2 T3 Magazines

Has anyone here ever used Mountain Tactical’s Gen2 Billet Magazines?

I have always used the original Tikka magazines for my T3 .300 WSM but thought I would try theirs.

They are all aluminum which was appealing to me. But after ordering 2 of their Gen2’s I find they won’t feed in my rifle at all. All they do is stove-pipe when feeding. The spring is more stout than Tikka’s and I thought about trying to reduce part of the spring and see if that would help but they are sealed and don’t know how to remove the follower and spring. MT says they don’t offer RMA’s so the best they offered was for me to send them back and they would have someone look at them and report back to me? If anyone has experience with these magazines and know of some fix I would appreciate it. Thanks!

I'm having a problem with the billet mag I ordered soon after they were advertised. The bolt hits the rear of the mag and abruptly stops.. something isn't matching up.. this is the .223 mag.
