Bottom metal and magazines for 6BR

I have a Remington 700 VLS in 6BR and although it feeds ok, I was considering putting it in a HS varmint stock. Has anyone used the HS bottom metal and modified the HS magazines to feed the 6BR? I know the AICS magazines can do it but how about the HS?
