What is an app????? My telephone has a wire attached to it.

I swear that I can dial a rotary phone faster than I can text. Although, it is handy to have a calculator, compass, high-res camera, and emergency phone in your pocket. Just delete all of the social media crap.

Yeah, it feels pretty cool to open up the GPS distance app, walk out and place your target, walk back and see how far it was out there. You then look through your scope and range with the reticle and use the calculator on the phone so that you don't have to round 95.5 to 100 and deal with any error there. Now you can compare the two and see how you did. You then plug the distance number into your Hornady 4dof app, hold the phone up to the barrel to get the angle to the target, approximate the wind, and it pulls in your azimuth of fire and spits out what you need to dial/hold in the scope. Squeeze off a shot and enjoy first round hits at very extended ranges with greater ease than ever before! Handiest compact ballistics solution ever that you didn't have to convince the wife to let you buy!

No, no, no, yer not LISSENING! That's the "app" part......you getcherself a reel of cord, it's called "cat 5" and it has a counter on the reel like them fancy countdown fishing reels.

You are going to get some good natured ribbing here and thats why this is all fun. But! I looked at and read up on the Hornady app, very interesting. Thanks for the introduction as i just didnt know it was out there.
