Mossberg 464 Extractor

Mossy 464 has/is known to have extractor issues. They are made of spring steel and basically clip onto the bolt.
Have one that has a broken extractor tip and none are available from Mossberg. Haven't found any in stock any place except possibility of Germany or New Zealand.

Mossberg has discontinued the M464 (30/30) lever rifle.

Has anybody tinkered with trying to repair or modify for another type like Rem 700's and Sako's?

That's why looking for alternatives.
