There was an interesting article in our liberal newspaper here a couple of days ago. It was written by one of the people who wrote Measure 114 here in Oregon which has firearms dealers in Oregon now using the federal three day rule.
She was crying about how there is now over 83,000 criminals here now buying guns because the gun dealers aren't using the Oregon state police background check system because it's pretty much in a state of flux due to everything being locked up in court. (this is how it was written)
Those 83,000 people who most if not all are honest people who may never have bought a gun to start with if this stupidity hadn't been forced through on them. They can now pick up their firearm in three days instead of what has sometimes been months for some of the people here.
She of course never once mentioned the fact that SHE is one of this bills writers in the first place and one of the reasons this stupidity was forced on the honest law abiding people of Oregon to begin with, ... Waaaaa! Waaaaa!
