Moore Accuracy shooting bench

Looks very good. Get yourself a dental stool for the seat and you'll be set. That very much looks like the first prototype of mine for the BR Pivot. Good job, the rodents are sure to hate it. :)

I built a padded seat for it right after I took that pic so it's a lot more comfortable than the bucket lid seat in the pic.
Looks like a great design for quick takedown. Ever catch "anything" on the hitch pin on the seat tubing???

Coming from someone who has wasted a lot of money buying most of the shooting benches out there; I would put any of them up against a Stuckys...found here: https://www.shootingbenches.com/

Easy to put up/take down and solid as a rock. Last a lifetime and for the money to me it is a steal! If you don’t like yours, I will buy it for a second home!

Solid, yes, but does it rotate?.......NO

One thing 50+ years of rat shooting has taught me, is that if a rat-shooting bench does not rotate, it's basically a hassle and almost worthless in the rat patch. JMO, JME, YMMV

I bought a Caldwell Stable Table and it was a lot better than a table or rigid bench. I did like the looseness in the joints so I made a composite bearing out of an Alliant powder jug to go in where the center post goes into the base. With a little trial and error fitting there is now no slop at all, in fact with someone on the seat it takes a little force to turn it. I find this works great, if it is too loose (smooth) it wants to move while you are shooting. I sprayed the powder jug bushing with silicone spray to make it move without galling. With the help of a plan for a really nice top from a really nice fellow on the forum I made the top in the photo which is a great improvement over the stock top.

it has an extra that is a plate with a mount for a quality bench rest and swivels. I shoot ground hogs, Coyotes and anything else i can legally kill....not cheap but it will still be standing when the others have long ago rusted or fallen apart. I have one with their newer 'rubber' coated top that just sits in the field and the weather has no affect....of course a good tripod with proper mount would work too...C
