portable shooting bench

I haven't hunted ghogs for quite some time so I can't speak for the use of a NEO for that, but I sure like it for PDs.

Unless I'm missing something in the photos, it looks like the legs have no height (leveling) adjustment. Is that the case? If so, what do you do on a slope?

we carry a shovel...simply dig the table legs to what you need.....

I have a bench very similar to most posted above. In my pipe legs rests a smaller diameter pipe that is about 18" long. I drilled a hole in the bottom of the larger diameter pipe and welded a hex nut over the hole. Using an appropriate size bolt you can easily lock any of the inner legs in place to accommodate uneven ground.
To avoid needing to use a wrench on the bolt I had a friend weld a T handle to the top of the bolt.
The whole system works quite well.

Use 14ga /. 083" wall square tubing.. if memory serves.. 2" and 1 3/4"..( the 1 3/4" will slide nicely into the 2") weld a nut ( 1/4-20) on the corner of the outer tubing. Use an "adjustable handle" example McMaster 6271K13.. this will allow you to position the handle..if handle position is an issue..use one telescoping leg on the front ( if a tripod is used / 3 legs) When handle is threaded into the welded nut and screwed in.. this will "tighten" all connections and remove any "slop." The adjustable leg will also address the "level" issue. Luck..

Just wanted to thank everyone agian for pics & ideas! I now have all the items needed & a great understanding on how to make it. Sure is going to better than crawling around on the ground!
