Who is Molly coating for bench rest
and f class
what’s your procedure?

i have been using liquid Molly 2
just on the case necks , but it seems to be a little thick. I’m thinking of diluting it

Cleaned a moly mess out of a used rifle i recently bought. Rifle wouldnt shoot for the moly fouling. Its a one hole tack driver now

I'm not sure what you cleaned from said barrel, but moly doesn't make a barrel "not shoot".

Ill let you figure it out brad. It was shooting about 1” with the first 3-4” of the bore heavily moly fouled. After scrubbing to to a clean bore it shot under .1” with the same load. Nothing else was done to the rifle or ammo

I'm sure it was heavily fouled. I don't doubt that.

I "found" a box of Lapua 123's that had been mollied. Tumbled them in sand and removed the stuff, then polished them in the wet tumbler - still have a matt finish. Be interesting to see how they shoot. All still weigh in at 123 ish and diameters haven't changed. ( Ill just tell everyone at the club that they are the latest aerodynamic custom bullets)
