Throat erosion may or may not be affected(probably not). But throat erosion is not the killer of barrels, or accurate barrel life.
I bet I've read thousands of implications that moly increases barrel life. Would bet as much none were true.
I'm as sure most moly use ended in lower accurate barrel life, due to poor management of it. Buildup of it..

I'm a WS2 user(pretty clear). Notice no claim of barrel life extension. You won't see credible claims of this. That's not what it's for, or does. They only barrel life extension is melonite treatment.

Using WS2, vs. naked, I don't change my load. YMMV, and I know this thread is about moly, but I still think it's relevant. If you're not burning more powder and you're cleaning less, barrel life can only improve or stay the same. Even if you did have to add a small amount of powder to reach the same velocity, it'd be a result of lower pressure. Typically, lower pressure equates to lower temps. Either way, I think it'd be a negligible difference.

brian 356 has it right its a flash inhibiter easy to do 28 grs in your favorite 8 lb'er check your velocity with it in powder and without that will tell the story......the 28 grs. is the amount that would cover 68gr. 6mm bullets and use a jug of powder.
