I will tell you right now that Midway USA defined a new meaning for fast shipping.I ordered some of the new Sierra Gamechanger Game Kings from Midway Saturday morning and was holding them this morning.Less than 48 hours.How is that for service.

Midsouth is a solid company also, 2 business days usually

Brownells on the other hand you can have an edge membership and they'll slow down the shipping even more when you use a promo code. I no longer waste my money on an edge membership because of this.

I've had the same experience with Brownell's. Really wish they'd look at their shipping times. I generally am quite satisfied with what I get, but why must I wait a week to 10 days or pay uncompetitive shipping fees? They're just in the next state north from me.

I don't know about anyone else, but it's cost them quite a bit of my business.

I like Midway as well, but I have to pay taxes when I order through them. Adds up on larger orders fast.

Well I must have pissed Larry off. Majority of my stuff takes at least three days to get here, I am just across the river in Kansas from KC Mo.
I can order from Grafs, Midsouth or Natchez and get it quicker.
Project last fall I had,ordered from Midway on a Friday AM, ordered from Midsouth on a Tuesday AM. Midsouth beat them here by a day.
Buddy lives a bit south and west of me and his stuff will show up way quicker.

I've had the opposite experience with Midway, called for a bushing was told 10 days to my door!
Wilson delivery was 2 days
Go figure

regards packaging: i have had several banged up product boxes but somehow the product has always survived
regards shipping time: i am not a fan of that surepost chit and found it usually adds two days to my deliveries
regards customer service: the best. they have taken back broken scopes, used failed scopes, broken wind meters, and refunded two way shipping with absolutely no heartburn except a trip to the po to mail the pkg off

Brownells shipping time has been hit and miss for me but I recently wanted to return something, for no other reason than it wasn't what I hoped it would be, and they pay for the return shipping. I don't recall Midway offering that and I'm pretty sure I've returned some stuff there. I might not be remembering correctly though.

I like them both though.

Fastest and best shipping I've found, for shooting and hunting stuff, is SWFA. In fact, I don't think I've dealt with an online store for anything, where I've had a better customer experience than SWFA. Wish they just had a wider selection of stuff.

I have Brownells edge membership and now select the free "2-day shipping" for all items (except the few items that require ground shipping). Everything I've ordered so far has arrived via UPS or Fedex 2nd day air... YMMV

I ran a seating depth test and got a .45 from my hunting rifle with 1800 rounds. I loaded 5 more of that depth and got a .485 but the mirage had really kicked in by then.

I’ll load a Cortina type charge weight test this afternoon and probably shoot it Wednesday. I expect low .3s from this worn out old thing.

If they shoot well I’ve got a new Proof Sendero chambered I will likely order 2,000 of them and use them for an all arounder.

I ordered some Sierra game changers on Friday and got them in yesterday.

Better than normal performance from Midway.

Midway's delivery performance on my orders has degraded significantly over the last several years. As a result I rarely order from Midway now.

I used to be able to place an order at lunch time and as long as I paid for UPS ground I would have it the next day. It was great. Now that same order I will receive an email saying the order shipped (sometimes at 10:00 at night) but I know that the order has not been picked up by the carrier. If I am lucky it might get scanned in the next day.

It is not just internal logistics. It looks like they may have negotiated different deals with some of their carriers. UPS ground is now at least 2 days from Midway to Wichita, KS. I have found that I am better off with the Sure Post (which was previously 2 day typically, now usually 3) because the US Postal Service delivers on Saturday and UPS is taking as long or longer.

My perception was that the performance really went down hill when Midway expanded into the clothing and hunting gear lines. I am sure this greatly increased the number of SKUs they have to manage.
