One fellow said I had “a lot of gall” to have limits on the number of free classifieds. I responded that Silver level is just $20 per year or thirty-eight cents per week. He answered “why should I pay a penny for what i can do [i.e. selling] on other forums for free?!” I then said “Fine, since you ascribe no value to this Forum, I will just terminate your account.” He then texted — “You can’t do that, it’s not fair! It’s discrimination!”

I smiled as I selected “BAN member” and clicked on “forever”.

Banning guys like that is actually one of the few truly satisfying things I get to do...

It doesn't surprise me this is occurring, but it is still disappointing that some jackwagon would treat you like this Boss.

I find it kinda funny that the only people that actually comment on the post by our forum boss when he is actually venting are from contributing members. Funny how cowards hide when the pot calls the kettle black. Thank you for running a very informative site and everything else you do. +1 to an excellent job by our moderator on an outstanding forum. Kudos are deserved. It's my go to resurce for info. I look at other sites, but the quality of the responses is often lacking, or inaccurate, or unsafe!

To the complainers that want to compare the site and think they get a better deal somewhere else I say the same thing to those that complain about our country: if you think it is better elsewhere, then go! I'm not saying our country is perfect, or that this or any site is perfect, but we all have a choice. Something those in other countries might not have! And we can exercise our right to speak about it. Something those in many countries cannot. So as my Grandpa used to say "quite yer bitching", be thankful for what you have, stop being part of generation that feels entitled to things they haven't earned or deserved, and get on with your life.

As a "new guy" on the forum , I do understand being a contributor , and it is fully on my to-do list in the short future . You do a fantastic job Boss!!!!!! I personally would have a hard time engaging in conversation with people like that.... they don't deserve your time. It still baffles me at how many people use this site and refuse to donate. I'd have a hard time helping them also. The old saying "never look a gift horse in the mouth comes to mind". I'd hate to see how many non donating members request things from you in a day. Have you ever thought of replying to them and saying, you get what you pay for?
