Medium Sized 22 Pistol Recommendations

Given you like your ruger MK II Target , you might consider a Ruger MK II/III/IV 22/45 LITE. The light is about an inch shorter and a full 15 oz lighter. ( The 22/45 Lite uses a polimer frane and aluminum upper that puts it just about 1/2 way between the MKII and Glock) It's also highly customizable with aftermarket parts if you want to taylor it to your needs/wants. Another one I could recommend would be the Browning Buckmark series ( particularly the Micro if you want to shed weight.) The Buckmark is another well proven design with lots of factory and /or aftermarket options.
The problem with these pistols for me is keeping them stock!
