I guess I started this thread because to me it doesn't seem like much of a leap from banning gun sales to medical marijuana users -- to other prescription holders and diagnosed conditions.
I'm a suspicious bastard, and I think that in this political climate, we will see many steps taken to separate gun owners/users from the herd by whatever means possible.
My perspective is also probably influenced by the fact that I'm in Oregon, and the marijuana culture and industry has become very huge and mainstream almost over night. It's easy to forget the Federal stance on cannabis when our state and county laws permit it and it's being openly grown and sold in a very big and open way. jd
