Just wanted to get an idea if anyone on here was around my area or had been to the Bridgeville, DE range.

Is the Bridgeville range a public range or are there yearly fees? Would you know of any upcoming events or competitions, either at Bridgeville or any other range..though im not sure of too many others that exist around here. I would like to get a chance to go watch one before I enter for the first time.

Sean today was the last of the Varmint for Score short range benchrest matches. They will start up again in April. The 600yd benchrest season is on at Bridgeville till spring. The next one will be on Oct.27th&28th, Nov.18th, Dec9th. I don't know the dates for next year. Here is there web addy http://www.bville-rifle-pistol.org/
Next Sunday There is a 300yd VFS in Thurmont MD. Then Nov.11th is a 100yd VFS at Thurmont. I don't know where you are but the clubs closest to me are Bridgeville, York and Thurmont. You might be closer to Fairfax,never been there). All of this information is available on the IBS website.

Just click on the link to the schedule they are divided up into catagories of group matches, score matches and long range matches,600&1000yd), the long range matches are for group and score. Bridgeville is club by the way. You have join to use the range on non-match days. Bridgeville also holds highpower matches but I dont know anything about those.

Bridgeville is private but very reasonable. I'm not a member but know a few folks who are, and the cost is cheap I'm told. I'm in Va actually but have shot matches there. Its a nice place to shoot with a 100-200-300 range as well as a 600 yard range. They are in the process of putting in a 1000yd line. There was a match there today and they hold some winter matches as well. Check the IBS webpage for the schedule.
