2013 Delaware F-Class Long Range State Championship

Hi guys,

Just checked the extended forecast - looks like mother nature may cooperate.
Weather-guessers are saying the weather should be good for the Delaware Long Range State Championship.

Hope they're right....

See you there,

Doc,

Stat office opens at 7 am for registration.

The plan is for the first shot to go down range at 0830.

This time of year we sometimes have ground fog in the mornings and sometimes morning lighting at the target line can be an issue that can slow things up a bit first thing in the morning. But now that we are back on standard time, absent ground fog, lighting issues should not be a problem.

But the plan is to send the first shots of the day down range at 0830, or as close to that as possible, all three days.

Hope that helps,

DE-F-Open

Could a fella just shoot one of the days if there was room on the line?

Hi Keith
Yes to that but you might want to pre-register. The Jeff will let you know for sure:

We should be done by 3 PM everyday. We had a bunch of military at the 600 yard match shooting M1As. Hope you can make it this weekend.

Nice work with the Garand today, Doc!

I agree...plus being in the shade all day did not help. but the chow at the end was pretty good! I like the smurf gun kt. it matches the "squidgital" NWUs. final day tomorrow, good luck to all! thanks to all the shooters that helped our USNA Mids get on paper. The Mid with the brake will be armed correctly tomorrow. Sorry about the muzzle blast Jeff :o
Special thanks to the match staff and especially Tony R for runiing squadding/stats/ and registration. see you in the morning.
Cheers,
Doc

I hope you all have been having fun. It has been great to see everyone and a pleasure to shoot with you.
