March Scope

i can't remember the year that Nightforce started the life time warranty? maybe 8 years ago?before that zip.and just to original owner....... but they still good.....jim

I think even when Hakko made the scopes for Nightforce (1995 or so) they where covered under a Lifetime Warranty.
Even today if you have one of these scopes they will give you full purchase price back agaisnt a new production model.
The NF Nitro Point Model and Custom Superb was made by Hakko and did not have anything to do with NF, yet these still show up at the factory for repair, ebay and even here for sale.

I'm watching a March on ebay, a 10x-60x BR...he has it listed as if the warranty is still vaild, I emailed him through the ebay system about the warranty, he is saying the warranty is still good, both my question and another are at the bottom of the listing.

It's not Kelbly's as it's listed as being in FL.

Why don't you ask the seller the S/N of the scope and contact Kelbly and inquire about it and the warranty?

According to Kelbly site and Deon they are the only distributors for US so the warranty should be void.

I did, he hasn't replied to 3 of the questions I have asked, nor do they show on the listing unless he posts them.....I think there is something not right with that auction. I'm just going to keep it on the watch list to see what happens, lots of questionable stuff on there, like this 8-32 BR NF that is listed as a NXS.

Again the selller has not replied to my questions about the NF scope, as it is a Benchrest Model not an NSX in the pics, but the text says it is.

One more thing, most scope sites give specs on their reticles. Easy way to compare.
EXCEPT MARCH, and LEUPOLD..

Thanks for the info BHarvey. Finally, someone described the crosshair.
It sounds too small for any fied use though, so you've saved me alot of dough.

After spending a weekend behind my new 10x60 March, I can say that it's worth the money. I still own and shoot Nightforce, but IMO, laying side by side, the March glass is clearer, and brighter - power for power....It's a great scope, as is Nightforce. The side focus on the NF NXS is IMO a strong selling point, but the 1/4" minute clicks isn't. With the March, you get the side focus, plus 1/8" clicks, and it's also got great eye relief. I was able to shoot the March at 60X on a sunny day with mirage running, but it wasn't clear..I could make out the scoring rings on a F-Class target, but not the numbers...On the second day, it was overcast...Running it at 60 resulted in a darker sight picture, but could still clearly make out the numbers...at 50X, the scope jumped out! Perfect picture, unbelieveable clarity!! You'll not regret buying one...
