Why Yes, I can...
Might want to be careful with the offer on the kidney as some serious offers may start rolling through...Could we say it has "Panache..."?
Also: I have a kidney for sale if anyone is interested...

Jackie the MAJESTA isn’t the oneI will go $5000 for any scope that lets me see 6mm bullet holes in the horrific mirage at Orangeburg at the TackDriver.
That might sound out of line, but considering all of the other cost in (trying to) putting together a competitive combination, it’s not.
I have been to four, using the March High Master 48x and the Nightforce 15x55 Competition.
I not going to waste my time this year at Tack Driver 6 guessing. So it’s either the Valdada Terminator, The March Majesta, Or the Schmidt & Bender.
The problem is shooters say good things and bad about either of the three. Much of it revolves around getting just as good a product at 1/2 the price. Well, I have looked through quite a few at the four TackDrivers I have attended, and they are just fooling themselves.
And all of that crap about turning down the power is just that. At Orangeburg, all it does is make things smaller.
LOL.....Not at Orangeburg, and only talking 300 meters.I would argue that. I have an older model 8-80X that works great, farther than I can find Rockchucks.
I always hesitate getting into these kinds of discussions because this is all very subjective and no one would agree with another person's perception when mirage is present. I don't know Orangeburg from Barking Spider and I've never been to a TackDriver event. Seeing a 6mm hole at 300 meters is easy for the Majesta and probably other riflescopes as well, but everything is a tossup when we bring in mirage. Bad mirage Vs horrible mirage is all subjective. "My mirage is more worser than your mirage." What measure are we using?I will go $5000 for any scope that lets me see 6mm bullet holes in the horrific mirage at Orangeburg at the TackDriver.

Good info.I always hesitate getting into these kinds of discussions because this is all very subjective and no one would agree with another person's perception when mirage is present. As I have explained countless times, the Majesta with its Super ED lens system and the additional Majesta pixie dust from DEON, allows me to stay at 80X at 1000 yards all day long at Bayou Rifles, and at Ben Avery and also at Lodi. Those are the various ranges at which I have shot with my Majesta in the last almost 2 years. I have said again and again, that when the mirage is bad (for me), the IQ of the target is crap, it will not win any photography prizes. But the aiming black is round. The rings are distinct, even if hairy, and the target doesn't bounce around, it stays put. The IQ is good enough to allow me to place the aiming dot of my reticle exactly where I want on the target and to use the upper segment to hold the top of the target frame. The image is yucky, but I can aim.
I haven't shot at 300 yards/meters in ages. I do 1000 yards most of the time, 600 yards on occasion and 100 yards when I do adjustments and load development. Last time at 1000 yards, the weather was perfect and the conditions were extraordinary. I could actually read the horizontal numbers on the 1000 yard target. Later that day, those numbers were just a small blob on the target, but I could hold on them.
Currently, there is no better glass for riflescopes than what's in the Majesta. The Super ED glass used has an Abbe number that's just a fraction under the one for pure fluorite glass. There is no CA in that riflescope. My hypothesis about how mirage affects the IQ in a riflescope is predicated on how well CA is controlled. The better the CA control, the longer the IQ resists degradation due to mirage.
Will the Majesta allow you to see 6mm bullet holes at 300 meters in Orangeburg in mirage conditions? I don't know, but if it can't, no other riflescope will either.
Good info.
I have been to Ranges all over. I have never been to one where the mirage was as bad as Orangeburg.
I have no explanation as to why.
I would hope it is mitigated with the quality of the optics.I can't wait to see the magic glass that can see thru atmospheric distortion. Best cameras in the world, still photograph it, so it doesn't disappear with price.
Doesnt that Big Valdada have a busy reticle? As I seem to recall they dont make it with a simple reticle. Which model are you referring to? Curious myself now.I would hope it is mitigated with the quality of the optics.
Bart says he can see his 6mm bullet holes in the heavy mirage with the big Valdada.

Don't like that reticle.....why wouldnt they offer multiple reticles?Best VALUE in a high powered riflescope?
Best value to Me means Best Warranty. That means Golden Eagle for Me. The Vortex Folks are great. Has there ever been an issue with sightron warranty department?... I have never had a problem with any of my sightron's to make me contact their warranty and customer service.. sightron's don't...forum.accurateshooter.com

Neither can I. The way I figure it is that it will take a lot of computing power to eliminate the distortion. In other words, it's not going to happen with pure optics.I can't wait to see the magic glass that can see thru atmospheric distortion. Best cameras in the world, still photograph it, so it doesn't disappear with price.
I have a Target Camera. Now a long flag pole, batteries in bottom, mini HD camera, wifi transceiver, smart phone at line. Probably see your bullet holes in any mirage.
Same here. In a Match like the TackDriver, the reticles offered on both the Terminator and Precision is WAY to busy.Don't like that reticle.....why wouldnt they offer multiple reticles?

I'd be interested if they will. Please keep us posted.Same here. In a Match like the TackDriver, the reticles offered on both the Terminator and Precision is WAY to busy.
I have plenty of time. I will get in touch with them and see if they will build one with a fine crosshair.
