Magnetospeed Riflekuhl User reports?

Title says it all or is something on the market cheaper or better? I dont care so much about price,I just want something that really works. Thanks in advance for your replys.

I use one, even though you can make a homemade one off amazon for much less... my issue is I carry enough stuff to the range I dont want to add another 5 pounds of $h1t when the riflekuhl is a few ounces and smaller than a deck of cards. It has worked very well for my needs.

I use have one. It does cool the barrel in about half the time, compared to just letting the rifle cool. It does eat batteries and produces a high pitch whine. (Leave your hearing protection on). It does work well.

Yep, works like it should and serves as an empty chamber indicator as well

Bought this. I used my own hose plus a .223 case at the end of the hose to slide into the chamber.

Works well.

That's not my hand.

There is also a Device called the Chamber Chiller...Its more of the same and also works as
well as the others...( Ice Water is the best but leads to other issues like plumbing etc...etc.. )
All in how far you want to go...and only you can decide this.

Had 2 of them, they quit working after a week Batteries are expensive,,wound up getting 2 The Original barrel Coolers,if electrical power is handy a Air mattress inflator works good

Battery, but I have been using it for almost a year and have not had to change them so I do not know what size. I will look today and see.

The original barrel cooling device was the Barrel-Cool (sp?). It, too, works like a charm for a few dollars less. Mine has been working well for 5 years or so.

This is what I'm currently using. I've a small USB battery velcroed to the not fan side.
Most importantly, it doesn't have the obnoxious whine the Magnetospeed has.

Can't seem to make it work on an aluminum Panda. Get a small blower on amazon attach 5/8 ID hose frome hardware store..shove it over the end of a bore guide and you will flow 10 x the air as the magnetospeed..

The Chamber Chiller puts out a lot more air than the barrel cool and i run it off of my lab radar battery pack. The did the rechargeable mattress pump but it is loud and more air than you can use.
