LRBR Heavy Gun Scope Mount Options

2-Stroke Dirt Devil

Have LR BR Heavy Gun in 6mm Dasher.
Looking for recommendations between Seekins HIT Precision and Near Mfg Alphamount.
Prefer the one piece monolithic mounts; not concerned with weight of the mounts.
Anyone use or would be willing to provided pros/cons for these.

I have a Spuhr that I really like on another rifle, but mercy, those have increased in price dramatically since I purchased mine.

I have used all three you have named. Well, to be clear, Seekins rings and not the monolithic mount.
Based on the price and fact that I've read many stories of cracking I would save money and not go with Spuhr.
The Near is, IIRC, Canadian so check to make sure they are still being imported and as I remember they were not inexpensive way back when I had one.
Having used several sets of Seekins ring I would go with the Hit mount.

Hadn't heard about the possible issues with Spuhr. I haven't had an issue with mine yet. Leaning toward the Near Alphamount. Yes, Canadian url and 6 week lead time per TRG42 website.

Something has changed very recently with Spuhr pricing. They've been showing at ~$600 for a while, but today showing $515 on Eurooptic and Mile High.

Thanks

The Near I had was for a TRG42. It's been about 15 years ago now but seems it was expensive even then.
Usually Eurooptic beats MHSA on price but Sphur may force MAP. Calling Eurooptic sometimes can get you an unadvertised price.

ERATAC offers a two piece scope rings/mount with a detachable 0-70moa base. It is what I am getting on my BAT HR 300NMI this week. Local shooters are using it for 1000yd/1 mile/2400yd matches.

Personally, I've found Warne rings to be everything I was looking for. Put them on a "good" rail (Ferrell, Tally, Kelby's) and go win matches.

For a Dasher maybe just add the weight somewhere else and use Nightforce rings. Get the “more screws” version if concerned about sturdiness. I have NF rings, Near uni and Spuhr uni, and I feel like NF rings are more than sufficient.

ERA-TAC mount/rings combo has a 0-70moa adjustable base if you ever decide to go ELR. FeMan here works at a LR Gunsmithing Co. and the 1000+yard club he shoots with and that he and wife use. It's what I am having the shop do on my BAT HR 300NMI rifle. Out to 2400 yards, maybe a bit farther...
I am also considering one for my HG 6 Dasher that is a sub-.25 rifle.
