I was in Sportsman's Warehouse today, picked up a box laupa 6br brass. I go to check out and the checkout girl ask me before she would ring it up, if I was going to use it for reloading. This I found odd, so I ask her why she was asking me that question. Her responds was management made her ask the question to cut down on returns from buyers that bring it back because it will not fire in their in gun, they don't know the difference between brass and loaded ammo. The gene pool is just a mud hole now.

Same thing at Ga.Arms in Villa Rica Ga,they have signs stating "Not loaded ammo!"In the reloading section.And the checkout person makes sure you know it isn't. People have put a pistol slug in and brought it back as defective ammo!I wonder how many have poured powder in their barrel and wonder why it ran out.

Our local shop has signs up on the bullet shelves, “Not loaded ammunition, bullets only”.

So it’s been a problem.

Not sure who's worse...the business clerks who don't know the difference or the consumer for whom the business has to post such a disclaimer, for said consumer.
