While it's nice to know what the hardness number is, for shooting consistency, does it really matter to know it as long as you're getting consistency?Without a hardness tester you won’t know if your consistency is in the 90-105 window.

I have no idea. I know amp shoots for 90-105 . Which I believe is what factory new Lapua brass tests at. Just something to consider. While it's nice to know what the hardness number is, for shooting consistency, does it really matter to know it as long as you're getting consistency?
We make some good stuff over here and we love our guns. Most of the stuff you buy is from China anywayYeah see I can’t help but wonder if it’s a bad idea to spend a bunch of money on a tool made in a gun-unfriendly country same as New Zealand if you ever need support down the road.

I know what you mean, unfortunately your correctNever said that you didn’t make good stuff
Never questioned your love for guns
I question your country because it’s less than gun friendly
Yeah - some kind of brass hardener - opposite of annealing.....Now if only the amp and QA could keep primer pockets from wearing out

Because its really hard to light up a propane torch in the garage?Same here ... I love my AMP and the support has been terrific. That said, different and imaginative solution that requires no pilot and no case holder ... it'll be interesting to see how they pull that off. Their market isn't AMP owners ... who already are happy with their solution. Their market is the "Wish I could afford AMP" reloader that is still lighting up propane torches in their garages.
