Looking for load data for .308 with H414 & 150gr

Looking for load data for my buddies .308 he has already picked up H414 & hornady 150 gs sp using CCI primers. Any help is appreciated

Thanks

That powder is just a tad slow for the 308 win. Hornady doesn’t show it for 150’s in the 308.
Hodgdon doesn’t either but they do show it for the Sierra 155 grain hpbt.
Starting load is shown as 48.0 grains of H414 and a Max load of 51.0 grains.

I’ve had great results with IMR 4064, probably better suited to that bullet weight in the 308.

H414 is a little on the slow side for a lighter bullet in the .308 case, but your buddy can start at around 50 grains and work up from there. Ball powders perform best in a fairly narrow pressure range, so don't be stingy with the powder if you're not seeing pressure. Be prepared for some pretty dirty case necks on the low side of the work-up.

RL-15 is my powder of choice for the 150s in the .308.

I shoot a 52.2 grain load of H414 behind a 155 in one of my .308s with satisfactory results. Please work up to that charge/bullet in your rifle!

Thanks guys we'll get working the loads up. Any other advise? Would it be better with 175gr. or 180gr.bullets?
H414 is definitely better-suited for heavier bullets in the .308 case, although there are better choices. Varget and RL-15 are excellent all-around powders for the .308 case.
