Hello group, my first post here so please forgive fopas, the 3 bullets below list the manufactures twist rate between 8 and 9 yet i only find brownings x-bolt 7mm 22" barrel with 1:8 twist rate, i'm expecting to use this for targets at 1000m and would prefer a 24" barrel
I have read many articles saying it doesn't matter, yet the manufactures have gone to no dont a great deal of trouble to tell us that this is what your barrel should have.
i have found
Remington's 700 sps with 24" barrel and a 9.1/4 twist (yes ill replace the stock) http://www.remington.com/products/firearms/centerfire/model-700/model-700-sps.aspx
