Over the years I have helped my 78 year old gunsmith sell various guns and gun related items on-line.
Today, as I was pouring over some of his guns, I picked up this Savage Model 1914 .22 Pump, telling him that I always wanted one growing up as a kid in the 70's.
His response, "keep it.....you deserve it!.."
Pretty freaking cool, he was thinking it was made in 1924. Also, we talked about the technology back then!
Finally, he said the rear sight alone was probably worth a lot...
Anyways I'm pretty stoked.....btw, he said to keep it unrestored.
