Floaters in Vision — What to do?

I've never heard that, and frankly I'm a little skeptical. My hunch is there's a risk/reward calculus involved, not to mention expense. Seems to me it would require filtering or completely replacing the fluid.

That is exactly what they do. It is evasive and my or may not work. My daughter-in-law them so bad she could not ride a bike. She had both eyes done a couple years ago and they have not returned.

I never had them like that. Just see a few black dots. I ve only got one good eye anyway. Dont want to have procedure that might go wrong. Be blind in one eye and cant see out of the other, Doug

I’ve always had them and big ones show up in photos the eye doc takes - he said if they get to the point it bugs me a lot they literally use a tiny tube and suck them out. As with most elective procedures, I’ll hold out as long as possible. In the last few years a couple have settled directly the line of sight so to read a micrometer or tape measure sometimes I have to look sideways then straight and get the measurement before the floater retakes it’s normal position.

I just started getting floaters today. I kept thinking they were gnats flying around, not a lot but I could see them for a split second then nothing. Mostly when I move my head or eyes around. Called my brother who worked with his opthomologist father in law and said it happens and went over what his father in law used to treat

Gonna call my Dr tomorrow for an eye check up, I'm due for one anyway. I remember an old high master shooter blaming his floaters on the 9s he'd get now and then, don't know if he was telling the truth or not. Thanks for looking.
Don't reach for one... especially when standing close to a drop off. :) Seriously though, hope all will be well.

Been taking the supplement David had mentioned for close to 3 months, my floaters are gone! Mentioned in passing to my sister, she ordered it as well, hers are gone too. During a doctor visit I ask her to do an eye check up on my floaters, she said they are gone. I am not much for taking supplements, but I must say this supplement seems to work. Thanks for posting it David!
