Loading data for 220 Swift/22-250 AI

I was wondering if anyone out there has ever used Vihtavouri N-140 and Sierra 69 gr Match Kings in either 220 Swift or the 22-250 Ackley Improved? I would appreciate any information, Thank you

I reload both 220 Swift and 22-250. Tried different powders but not those listed. Best results for the Swift are with IMR 4320. For the 22-250 found H380 to perform best. The Swift has a 1:14 twist and performs best with 50 gr bullets or less. The 22-250 is a 1:12 and likes 55 gr. bullets. Check the twist in your rifles since it may limit bullet weights .

I shoot 22-250 ackleys with 52 gr. eld's. N-140, N-540 work well in it. Check Nosler web site for 22-250 ackley data..

My Nosler #8 manual doesnt show N-140 but does show N-540 starting at 32.5 gr with a 62 gr bullet in the 22-250AI. My Sierra data doesnt show N-140. These chamberings werent known for fast twist barrels as I recall, being normally 12 twist and 69 gr boat tails would be a bit heavy here.

My 250AI shot great with N-540 and 75 gr Hammers, shooting under .1". IMR-3031 btw shot even better at .032" and ES of 8 in my tests
