Yup. Got that tee shirt.or Steiner.

I had an old Burris 6X18 go bad and they sent me a 6X20 that you can't get the parralax out of.No problem as long as they keep giving you a better scope in return. The other companies seem to be the opposite
Vista owns the Bushnell name and Beretta owns BOTH Steiner and Burris (along with some other stuff you may have heard of). It has been this way for quite some time now. Maybe you were sent some other brand of scope as a replacement? There was a period of time when CS and quality at Bushnell was flushable. If it broke tough s##t.Yea theyll send you a bushnell they usually sell in a bubble pack
Now that you said that it may have been a t-36 sent in. Glad theyre sending certificates now. That scope they sent me was perfectly adequate for a red ryder. It happened a lot right when they ran out of weaver parts i guessVista owns the Bushnell name and Beretta owns BOTH Steiner and Burris (along with some other stuff you may have heard of). Vista also has the Weaver name (and a whole lot more). A friend had a Weaver T36 go down (reticle issue) and contacted Vista. He was told there were no Weaver optics but sent a certificate for any Bushnell product that had value way above (at least monetary) what the T36 cost (double).
Today we live in a fast changing gun world. Companies change hands, in the words of Ralphie's dad, quicker than a jack rabbit on a date. Sometimes it's a good thing for us; sometimes not. The only certainty is that a name is just a name now and that scope you bought twenty years ago probably doesn't suit your eyes or your needs.
No doubt the Bushnell line held/holds some stinkers. I think the "mass market" suppliers of optics all have them. NF, S&B, Zero Compromise and March to name a few concentrate of the higher end of the scale while Leupold, Burris, Bushnell and others need product that provide opportunities to "the masses". The problem I see with that is the damage a poorly executed budget optic can leave such a bad impression the buyer may choose to move on instead of up in that product line. After all, isn't everyone an expert now?Now that you said that it may have been a t-36 sent in. Glad theyre sending certificates now. That scope they sent me was perfectly adequate for a red ryder. I have one of those burris 8-32 signature scopes with the daylight/dark iris that needs to be sent in right now but im worried on what ill get back in return. My scope is clear and made in the usa. Well it's safe to say you won't get what you have but their warranty seems pretty well stated and you should get one that actually does stay focused and hold zero.Wont hold zero or hold focus. Both shift under recoil of a 22-243 that weighs 25lbs
That looks like everything except the shell.Arrived at my door today at 10am. Apparently, they thought it needed more than what I sent it in for. Nice to see still plenty of parts in house. I even asked them to replace the Golden Ring if they could as it was fading after 30 years of outdoor exposure. They did!! Arrived in the original box, too.
A friend had a 8-32 signature that also did this sent it to Burris in spring of 21 they said it couldn’t be repaired and fave a good price trade in on other styles of scopes he ended up with a veracity for 250 bucksWont hold zero or hold focus. Both shift under recoil of a 22-243 that weighs 25lbs
Dusty... You will NOT get your scope back....They will offer a NEWER but different style in return. the fine print says repair/replace at their option. your 8 x 32 day/twilight is long out of production. Even though it was TOP of the line back then, you'll be lucky to get a mid-class scope in return offered (without putting up some cash).I have one of those burris 8-32 signature scopes with the daylight/dark iris that needs to be sent in right now but im worried on what ill get back in return.
