Leupold 36BR vs Leupold 36BRD

Could someone please distinguish the difference between a Leupold 36 BR and a Leupold 36 BRD?

I think!!! The only real difference is a locking ring on the paralax adjustment ring on the front of the scope. Like i say, I think!! Lee

Actually the D stands for duel springs, they added an extra spring to keep the impact from shifting, benchrest shooters used to have Cecil Tucker add the conversion to do the same thing.
