Being comfortable is very importantWas soooo nice! Love the location of my hand now!
Get you one Jim, you know you want one. Put it on your wifes card.Double Damn”
This is my first year of shooting (Yes, I shot one match in 1988) and I'm on my 4th rear bag. I've had one from what I think are the top (best) bag makers.
View attachment 1123440 View attachment 1123441 I absolutely love this bag!! It is so nice to be able to rest my hand up front near the trigger and it doesn't disrupt the gun at all! I even hit the bag a couple of time trying to do it and if I hit it hard enough it did but just putting my hand on there and resting it on the bag did not change the POA. Oh, if you look to the right and see the hat I've found another use for it![]()
bulzeyepro.com used for mirage/boosting. Jury is still out on it.Is that a magnifier on the back eye piece of your scope? If so may I ask who's brand? Thanks
Had a chance to go out this afternoon and really look at the bulzeyepro, what I think is if you are shooting 600 yards or more it will help, at 100 yards through 300 meters it is not much help. What have others found and am I in line here?bulzeyepro.com used for mirage/boosting. Jury is still out on it.
Honestly I don't think the SEB is in the same league as the Edgewood or the Lenzi, the quality of the latter 2 are much better, jmho. (but hey this is my first year and what do I know?).Man, looks like you’ve got 2 full cows tied up in that thing. Impressive.
Now, i shot a full Gator and mini Gator for about 20 years, both CF and RF and they were fine.
When I recently went to a SEB I switched to a Lenzi. IMHO I think it is better.
Initially when I switched, one reason was it was higher giving me more range on the rest without going with a base/donut in back.
I like it more, however, because I think it gives a better fill range without being overly hard. It is tough to use the Edgewood without it being on the harder side of fill in the base which is why, I think, you see fewer in short range benchrest.
Less than scientific, but my feeling is I deal with less vertical, especially @ 200.
If the bag match’s the angle of the butt stock what more do you need rightAfter using this bag for a while I like it even more but while shooting at the UBR Nationals (finished 3rd in unlimited with 30 shooter (happy happy!)) one of the competitors said he thought I would do better with the flat not sloped ears, haven't gotten to talk to him but "why"? Why would it be better as this looks like a natural way the gun recoils on the rest. Any thoughts? Thanks guys and have a blessed day!

Yes, I have the Neo Ratigan and love that thing! The SEB I went to is the Neo rest, not the bag
I have no doubt my scores will get a bit more consistent this year because of improved tracking.
Naw, just a lot of bull .....................Man, looks like you’ve got 2 full cows tied up in that thing.
Impressive!Just a quick update but the new bag has really helped with my consistency. A big thumbs up to the people at Protektor for their help in picking the right bag. I am getting 1/2 MOA and below at 200 and sub 1 MOA at 600 with ten shot groups shot regularly now with my production rifle. Biggest difference was in the reduction of flyers. I have no doubt my F class scores will come up a point or two next season just from the reduction of the flyers
Impressive!
