Which rear bag for F-Class

Trying to decide on a good rear bag set up for F-Class. I`ve been looking at the Edgewood`s but my concerns (with any rest) is the ability for it to conform to uneven surfaces. One place i shoot at is somewhat uneven and a touch rocky. I can tell it with my cheaper "softer bottom" bag and i`m scared it`ll be magnified with a stiff bottom. Is there a good bag that someone recommends or would i be better off with a seperate dead bottom type of bag along with a good rear bag. Thanks guys!

Edgewood makes outstanding bags. The way you overcome uneven surfaces is through the use of their new "Dead Bottom" bag seen at the bottom of this page: http://www.edgebag.com/catalog.html#newpricing

You don't need to fill the Dead Bottom completely. Personally, I only use enough sand to raise up my Minigator by about 1/4 inch. Just enough to eliminate or make up for irregular surfaces. Some shooters, however, make them do double duty by filling them full, so that they also act as spacer for raising the height of their rear bag.

If you have a Protektor bag, call and speak with David. They can make you what they call a custom "Donut" that will conform to any of their bag sizes.

There's a product carried by Sinclair that's called an "Otto Rear Bag Stabilizer" but it was designed for the small and older rear bags with a rounded bottom. It's dimensions are much too small for most of the newer bags. Good shooting!

Thanks for the response. I ended up ordering pretty much that same setup yesterday ... Edgewood original tall bag along with the dead bottom bag. I may regret not getting the minigator. Guess time will tell.

THANKS!
