First dog I've had that doesn't get scared from gun fire, fireworks, thunder, etc...

How do you set length of pull on an OU and eye relief on a scope for a GS? He certainly looks like he knows how to shoot.

Short arms and a long face is hard to set anything for but if he had hands I bet he could have shot them, he was the smartest dog I've ever had.

Both Shepherd mixes. Hunter is the tan/black moron, but he’s also a laser guided fur missile. Reina is the Chocolate Shepherd, and the queen of the house.

They don’t go to the range. But neither seems to mind me shooting the .22 in the back yard.

The Doberman isn’t mine. Met him at a Run N Gun event last year. Super well trained.

Here is mine. This boy will get a little bit bored on range, usually have to leave on car if possible.
Even though my dog does not understand anything about hunting the best place for dog (and for me) is forest

My Dobe grew up in our shop..... calmest freakin dog I've ever seen. Folks don't believe it but, you can SMACK a 2x4 down on the floor and you'll be lucky if she even raises an eyebrow.

Will lay at your feet whilst using an obnoxiously loud miter box..... or lay between my feet at the mill or lathe?

Looked for a rescue for about 2 years. The hitch was always that we don't have a fenced yard? Was like.... look you dumbass, I'm retired. The dog will be a buddy dog,we live in the country,there's 400 acres JUST behind the house and countless more. Anyway,found a breeder that raises GSD's and Dobe's for security biz's. She was the runt and had this goofy scab on her head(which cleared up a month later). Lucky me,turned into the best dog I've ever been around.

She never stops. We have a Belgian Malinois as well so it is always go time.

Mine hides under the couch when he hears thunder or fireworks. That’s when he’s my wifey’s dog.

and I need to take "Jackson" out to a farm I know to get away from it. He and I sleep in the van for the night. all because of what they put him through.

Java was my shadow for 14 years. His hips gave out Dec 28 2021 and had to put him down. We stopped at McD’s for ice cream on the way to the vets. Java came from the humane society and loved playing in water.

Here's a couple of pics of our latest dog project.. I can't say I've ever seen a better looking dog, but then I'm kind of biased. Millie is the dog, and Sam is the kid. They're both a pleasure to have on the range.. specially the "open range". jd

Sadly Doc hasn't any range dogs ,as we moved to an area void of many things including My beloved German Shepherds .

My last two were Schutzhund trained and the best damn dogs a man ever had . Female was descendant of a World champion ,the male was to large failed the wall scale and refused to break on command .
Poor Thor had NO tolerance for aggressive behavior and genuinely disliked the attacker . At 126 lb. he took him down and drug him around . Neither ever bit or injured a child even when poked or prodded ,they knew the difference of a perceived threat and a real threat .

Anybody KNOW ,where I can locate a Reputable breeder ?.

Claire is the darker one. She doesn't hardly get more than ten feet away from me.

Reese is peanut butter colored. She's a little more independent, but still snuggles now and then.

Here’s Zoe, our newest dog. Her mom is a full breed basset hound who came to a basset rescue and the adoption agency didn’t know she was pregnant. Well she had puppies a week later. Lol…the rescue was serious. She came with all these papers and medical records. They did a DNA test and her dad is a heeler and Black and Tan coon hound. She’s 10 weeks old and gets along great with our kids and Swiss mountain dogs Molly and Gus.

We have 4 dogs. 3 of them dont mind seeing the guns or us handling them, but the 4th is a Democrat. He tucks his tail and takes off to hide. I think he was born in California before we got him.
