Great looking gun! If I do one its going to be very similar. I'm thinking though of going with like 25" barrel so I could deer hunt with it but not sure.

Thought I resurrect this since I just picked up my latest from the smith. Another spitting image of my red XC, used for 1000 yard VBR matches mostly. This new one (blue) is a BAT MB dual port, Masterclass stock, 30" Krieger MTU 1-8, .236 ...

Exact same profile as my Baer stocked BAT M, dual port which won quite a few matches last season. I got sick of my boy beating me with my own gun, so now I have another. I'll be breaking the barrel in tomorrow!

I cant wait to get mine finished! I went with a 28" 1-8 twist McGowen barrel with a Pac-Nor NBRSA contour (I think I went a bit overboard with that haha) and a remnigton 700 stainless action with a jeweled bolt with a 40x trigger. It will be bedded in a Boyd's thumbhole stock. from what I've been reading it seems like I will be going with the 105 hybrids and H4350. I got the action in and the stock is coming tomorrow so ill just be waiting on the barrel which should be done mid to late June

Broke my barrel in on Saturday, shot a Ladder on Sunday. It fell right in line with my red gun with two accuracy nodes identical just .4gr lower so this barrel must be just a smidge faster. Loaded up my higher node and tried a couple seating depths and both shot under 2" @ 510 yards. Going to try another .002 and .004 deeper as the trend appears to be tightening the more jammed it is. At any rate it'll shoot as it sits just not done tinkering yet!

Hey guys sorry to jump on to this thread but I have a questions about a 6mm 22-250 all the threads I can find are rather old. what are the big differences between the 6xc and 6 mm 22-250? I have read that it's is basically an ai version is this correct?
I will be using Lapua brass 105 Berger hunting vld and will be using for coyotes and antelope/deer this is why the hunting vlds. I would love to reach a little over 3000 fps my smith had built a few 6 mm 22-250 and he convinced me to go that route what do you guys think? Also they used to say to be careful pushing the 6mm over 3000 any truth to that my twist rate will 1-8"

Thanks

Same barreled action as above (page 2) this time in a Scoville stock

Have you got to shoot it in that set up? Have you got to stretch it out any..? We have had the worst weather here, strange year..Extremely High Winds..woke up to a inch and a half of snow this past Saturday morning. It's like 25 deg F out right now with 20 to 30 mph winds..weird...this time of year. it was 75 deg just a few days ago..

We have had lots of wind. I put it in this stock to see how I would like the barrel block while I was waiting for the completion of a Cheytac. I shot it at 100 yards and then it went back into the Shehane Tracker stock.
I did get to shoot the XC past 100 yards. I planned on shooting long one day but the wind was just too much so I shot a couple of eggs at 238 yards. It went 5 / 5 so I was happy.
When Richard Schatz was here we shot it at 800 and out to 1440 yards. It made one hit on the 1440 yard
plate that is 18 inches. My 284 chewed the XC up at 1440 yds. Richard made 3 consecutive hits with the
284 win at 1440.

A T2K with a tactical camo paint job and with match sights and a hand stop and sling attachment. Just wild :) Who did your paint job ? I'm thinking of doing something like that myself with my T2K.

It's Cerakote. camo is multicam. I got it done in Honolulu, HI at a local Cerakote shop. My advice is to break the rifle down into it's parts and then send it to get cerakoted.

Here's mine. Got it put together back in June and still have not had a chance to fire it.
