I live about 50 miles north of Yellowstone and spend about 80% of my days from mid May until the end of September around West Yellowstone fishing and shooting rock chucks. So I am in the Park quite often. It's interesting to see the tourists reaction when I kid them and say "Why don't you go down there and pet that buff. You can be the first one of the year that gets run over." We all get a good laugh out of it. The only good thing of that whole situation is that the bison never press the attack. They always hook them, throw them way up in the air, and then run off as fast as they can. A grizzly always presses the attack and doesn't quit until it thinks you are incapacitated. We have several grizzly attacks per year around here.sshh dont ruin it and tell them
The funny thing is that the Dutton Ranch is portrayed as being on the border of Yellowstone Park. It's actually over by Darby Montana. About 275 miles away.Ive been watching so much Yellowstone (the series) the last week I feel like I live there
