I've witnessed two of those folks get what they had coming to them. Those people just can't resist doing something really stupid, and the next thing they know, they are upside down 10 feet in the air. The main clue is, if that bull has his tail held at a 45 degree angle, you better get the hell out of there cause he's mad.
Wife and I were cruising thru the Badlands NP a couple years ago, and a small group/herd of bison were crossing the road, so we were waiting for them to move on. One single bison came up from behind the truck and started rubbing his shoulder on the brake light of my truck, shook the truck like being on cobblestones. Didn't really know what to do other than hope it didn't enjoy it too much and get aggressive. No damage but I did get a free sample of bison hide after it wandered off.

I was reading up about it an saw its a real ranch In Darby Montana. I though (according to the show) its a massive peace of earth bit I think I saw its something like 2300acres if I remember correctly, over here we call that a smallish golf course. Good show non the less, makes you wanne go ride a horse instead of watching TV
And in my area, if you owned 2300 acres, you have a pretty good sized farm! ;)

In one episode they stated the ranch was over 50,000 acres. It bordered the reservation and Yellowstone.
But I'm old and my hearing isn't the best so I may have mis heard.

I suppose you can do more with 2300 acres in Montana then you can with 7000 acres most places this side of the big pond. Stunnig country you guys have there

Prob the closest we have over here, border of Natal and Freestate. Normandien Pass, the British learned a couple things there and at Fort Mistake around the corner. Avg farm there is prob also around that 2300-2500 acres

Back to the funnies now!
