Lapua for me all the way. Nothing I've tried will last as long as it will.
This is good to know as I just purchased 100 rounds of Lapua for my 22-250.Well after 18 reloads on some Lapua 6BR brass both as 6BR and now reformed as 6mmBRX I'm finally getting some random loose primer pockets. This speaks volumes about their quality as I'm betting the rest will go 20+ reloads or more then fall inline with loose pockets. With this kind of life span the cost is clearly justified. My Winchester 308 brass started going south just about 9 reloads and it was split necks/shoulders and loose primer pockets. I'm currently running some Norma 6BR brass now so we will see how it holds up, seems to be great quality as well.
I would say he got the “goodie” out of that brass.A good friend of mine ran 3800 rounds through his Krieger 243 tube. The loads were fairly light. Oh...by the way...he did it on 40 pieces of Lapua brass. I'll let you do the math!!Tossed the brass with the tube and is using the next 40 in his new tube. He said the PP's were fine on the old brass....tossed them "just because"!!
