Lapua ammo 22LR

One source of information came from Lilja, but it's not the only source that was similar as I recall. I kept in contact with Lapua on the 22 stuff at one time, but I could be mistaken about what I got from them as opposed to other source.

If anyone has a more definitive answer, I'm open to learning.
At the risk of dragging this out, since you asked a sincere question, you deserve a straight answer.
If you’re shooting a competitive rifle, usually with a match barrel, most clean with a quality rod/ boreguide and clean every target or two with a minimum of oiled patch followed with dry and often go with a quality bronze brush with RF solvent and often apply C4 in the throat….let it soak, takes care of carbon buildup…..pretty easy.
These steps in some frequency are employed by the majority of great shooters that I ever witnessed and I’ve shot with plenty of them over the years.

Thanks for dragging this out. I know it shouldn't be hard to get some general information like this, but it seemed to have been. Again, thanks.

Keeping in mind this is a general use forum with users with multiple interests, with this thread about top tier match ammo, again, my response driven by match shooting using top line custom equipment, but honestly, most decent rifles generally benefit from clean bores.
You’re welcome.

What do you consider:

1 a quality rod
2 a quality bore guide
3 a quality bronze brush
4 the best cleaning solvent?

Also, during a match do you have time to let C4 soak?

Well, for what we spend on match grade SS barrels ( soft) , I’m anal and don’t screw around with rods, I have two, an Ivy, no longer made, and a Stiller ( PQP), best money can buy IMO.
PQP bore guides, with the insert to fit the rod.
Any good BR grade bronze brush, personally I use a bronze RF pistol brush these days.
Rimfire Blend works great, followed by a lightly oiled patch.
During a match, If I start with clean metal, I’ll usually only push an oiled patch followed by 1-2 clean between cards.
Once yo get your chamber seasoned, really don’t need C4 between cards. For the first 1-2 bricks use it every 50-100 rounds but good idea to scope how fast it builds.
The way my guns are chambered, you can feel when it is starting to need attention.
Nothing unique about any of this, easily seen being done at any sizable match and I don’t believe I ever harmed a barrel or had one let me down come crunch time with both ELEY or Lapua.
Among the attributes of Lapua….it seems to take a fair bit longer before chamber fouling becomes an issue.
Take these steps and put them to good use
