Yes Sir it has dried up for the past few months. Surely it is getting close to becoming back in rotation again from Lapua. Some have been turning loose of their extra supply here in the For Sale section for profitable buy now prices.

Back in the day (way back) when Lapua 6BR wasn't available, I got on a "few" waiting lists. When it came available, I had brass coming out of my ears.
Sold it for what I had in it + a few $$$. EVERYBODY was happy. Didn't try to screw anybody. Got my $$$ back and EVERYBODY was happy.

If you have to have Lapua maybe run a WTB ad. There’s been some Lapua sold as of late, pricing was up there. That being said you can get ADG right now. It should get you by, especially if you’re just having fun or shooting varmints. Link below

I’d be REALLY careful using that in a Lapua Chamber, some of the necks are thick.

There’s some in the classified but you almost have to remortgage the house to buy it.

Amazes me people are paying $200+ for a box of Lapua brass. Sad the members are selling it for that much knowing they didn’t pay anywhere’s close to that for it, but demand rules the game. Just depends if you wanna play.

I don't know where you've been the last few years.
Supplies are worth whatever someone thinks they are worth, how bad it's needed, what the availability is and for the seller, do they care whether they sell them or not.

I sold some and hope the person enjoys them. I made a little on them, I think. I don't know what it will cost to replace them when and if they become available though, but it will be more than I paid for what i'm replacing originally. So, what I paid for them has nothing to do with what they cost.
I'm hoping they will be available when I need to replace my current lot, but I don't know.

I sold what I felt I could spare for the time being at a price that initially seems like quite a bit, but there are none at the retail stores that I'm aware. It took the better part of a day preparing my, for sale listing, deciding if I even wanted to sell them, what the risk was of my needing some before mine ran out, locating a box to ship them, preparing the cases for shipment and taking them to the Post Office.

I happened to have more than I think I will need for a while and someone didn't have what they needed.
So, I sold some.

I guess people forgot about primers. a year ago, I paid $150 for a brick of match primers because I didn't have any. I didn't like it, but I was really-really glad to get them.

I think a lot of people are looking at prices shown on line for less money, but those prices are "Yesterdays Prices" which will change when they are actually in stock.

If anyone really thinks the prices are improper, then share what you have at the price you paid. Oh, you don't have any?
I wish someone would share with me some H4198 at the price they paid.

It's the same with Lapua 223. Guys are asking almost double for what it goes for online. Only problem is, there is no other premium 223 brass out there. You'd think by now Peterson or ADG would get on board with it and take some of that market and give some competition to drive the price down.

I have heard sig brass is very good. BUT I have a good bit of lapua brass that my rifle sings with. Not wild about having to work up another load so going to shoot up the lapua I have on hand

If most of the competition boys shooting 6mm BR are shooting Lapua brass in matches, I have to think there is a reason.

Yeah, the reasons are a few such as :
It's been on the market the longest
It's been very consistent
They bought more than they need
etc....

And all of this still does not mean that you cannot win or set records using Peterson.
One day Peterson may be the go to brass......especially how slow Lapua products hit the market.
