Labradar under the rifle

Borrowed a labradar to get data on my cz457 at 175,200,250 and 300 yards looking at some videos saying for 22lr it should ideally be in front of the barrel and close to the muzzle as you comfortably see fit. I'm shooting from a bench and was thinking about putting it directly under the barrel since I will be using the app to see the results. Is this feasible?

It’ll probably function but I prefer to have access to the panel. Most good benches would block that.

You aren't expecting to get velocities past 100 yards are you?
after i get the short range velocities im going to try the longer ranges worst thing that can happen is it doesnt pick up and i will need to true my strelok pro app by moa adjustments

ended up in front and just off the side of the rifle found out just how consistent lapua center x is over tac 22 lapua had a sd of 6.87 with 25 shots and tac22 had a sd 12.42 for 25 shots. got fps at muzzle, 50, 75,and 100 yrds.
thanks for the replies
