I have a new 20 BR looking for best powder. I have 9 tw barrel. I have used N135, Varget, N540 so far, All seem to work well. N135 work well for the 40's Vmax, Varget & N540 work for 50's. CCI 450 seems to be the best primer. What combo with best for yours.

For the 40s mine likes N133 best.

For the 50s the best was N540.

I actually found quite a few powders that worked well with the 40s but N133 had a slight accuracy advantage, nice velocity at reasonable pressures, and burns so clean.

I don't have a 20BR, so I'll keep my mouth shut. Looks like Fireball answered it for you. Thanks, Mr. Fireball.

When it comes to the 20's, I only have a Tac-20, and a 20 VarTarg on the way.
