Knight Smoke Pole MK85 Question

Have a older Knight MK85 that was my brothers. When he passed I never checked it but found out recently it was left loaded with black powder for many many years . The breech plug has seized in place and through all efforts I can't get out. Soaked it in Kroil, impact screwdriver, etc, no movement. Best I can tell it would need to be drilled out and threaded for a replacement breech plug. Can this be done? Want to keep as much of it as original as it can be for sentimental reasons but want it functional. It still uses the standard #11 primers as well and would prefer to keep that but also ok with converting to 209 system. Its a plunger system not a bolt.

My brother-in-law acquired one with the same issues, he wanted to know if I could fix it, all I said just keep your fingers crossed!! So I soaked all the parts in Jet-Lube, 769 for about 3 weeks, and was able able to remove the breech plug, cleaned the trigger, and was able to fire the rifle.

How do you remove the breech plug without marking it up ?

The Knight breech plug has a removal, install tool. The old Knights that are stuck, remove stock and trigger and bolt. Place breech down in a container of free all, and pour some in the barrel. You can leave it for a week or 2.
