I don’t feel how the cases are prep or what is used to check
The results will be no better then how it is done
The cases should be checked when the have been fired twice in the chamber .
If you’re going to use the bubble and the trim lingth everyone must have the same dimensions and the cases must be perfectly dry
And theLiquid. Should be easy to dry
I don’t use that method. I do all mine off the datum point on the shoulder
And pressure the liquid and air outside and nothing drips down the case
Useing my method I get repeated results.on the same case of a tenth of a grain

Here is my Case Volume/Powder Charge Variance at 1K yards
I used GRTools simulator which is in my experience is 99.7% accurate in predicting MV with calibration and 99.3% without outcaliberation.

It is a small sample, but the numbers are meant to get an idea of what the variance in case volume and powder charge variance would make in the vertical spread at 1K yards
