My club started shooting ABRA (Automatic Bench Rest Association) matches. It looked like fun so I ordered a bunch of parts and built a 10/22 "style" rifle to compete. I ordered most of the components from Kidd Innovative Technologies. I won the state championship with that rifle; but, it had a problem. It was throwing the first shot out of every magazine. It's expensive to waste 10% of your Eley 10X rounds on sighters...
I was using a Kidd SS match barrel and another manufacturer's receiver. I called Kidd and spoke to Shalee to discuss this problem. She said it could be the barrel so we will send you another barrel. Mount it and return the "old" barrel.
I got the new barrel, but, I couldn't get the old barrel out of the receiver. I called Kidd (Shalee) again and described my problem. Once again she said "No problem". Send the barrel and receiver to us and we will put the new barrel on.
I mailed the barrels and receiver on 5/5/2020 via the US Postal System. Their tracking system tracked the package until 5/9/20 when it left the "Central" PO. After a week and no delivery, I called the local Postmaster. NO HELP! I called at least every week after that and spoke with several people. NO HELP! As of 5/27/2020 (after many telephone calls). still no delivery.
When I called Kidd on 5/27, Shalee said she felt bad about my loss. She said that she would "help me" with my next order. I want to keep shooting ABRA so I called Shalee on 5/29 to order a new barrel and receiver.
Shalee said that she spoke with Mr. Kidd about my problem. They offered me a new barrel and a slightly used receiver for $200.00. Retail on these items was over $400. Of course I said yes...
I thanked her for her support in this matter and told her that her company was showing me OUTSTANDING customer service. I felt that this problem was beyond their responsibility. Yet they showed their support to me. I am very thankful.
You can bet that I will use Kidd for all of my 10/22 orders!!!!
